The decision to fire NBPA executive director Billy Hunter will fall to the player representatives of the league's 30 teams. Reps from each organization will vote based on the wishes of their respective team.

And at least 10 teams -- including the Brooklyn Nets -- are already committed to firing Hunter, according to people in contact with the player reps.

“Everyone I’ve talked to, it’s pretty clear that they’re looking for a change,” Kris Humphries, the Nets’ player representative, said Friday.

Hunter was placed on indefinite leave on Friday.
