The Golden State Warriors are holding talks with Brian Scalabrine about an assistant coaching job.

Scalabrine met with Mark Jackson and the front office of the Warriors last week and talks are ongoing.

Mike Malone and Bob Beyer have departed the Warriors this offseason.

Scalabrine turned down an offer from Tom Thibodeau in the 2012 offseason to join the Chicago Bulls in order to pursue a media opportunity.
