Gersson Rosas and the Dallas Mavericks are parting ways after just three months.

Rosas came from the Houston Rockets' front office to become general manager of the Mavericks under Mark Cuban and Donnie Nelson.

"I like Mark's philosophy," Rosas said to ESPN Deportes in September. "Mark wants to win at all costs. And he gives you the tools so that the team can win. He's a competitor and I like that."

Rosas was hired by the Mavericks to supplement Donnie Nelson with new ideas, while he wanted to head basketball operations.
