Derrick Rose suffered an injury to his right knee in Friday night's game against the Portland Trail Blazers and will undergo an MRI on Saturday, the Chicago Bulls announced.

Rose hurt his knee in a non-contact situation, and left the postgame locker room on crutches and in pain.

"He has pain and he felt like he couldn't push off his right knee," Tom Thibodeau said after the game. "I'm concerned. Anytime anyone goes down, you're concerned. But I don't want to speculate until we have more information."

Rose sat out the entirety of last season because of a tear in his left ACL on April, 2012.

Rose is averaging just over 15 points and four assists this season.
