James Nunnally will sign his second 10-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, a league source told RealGM.

Nunnally received a call up to the Hawks after impressive play for Bakersfield of the NBA D-League, and he scored five points on two of three shooting in his lone appearance for Atlanta. His first 10-day deal expired Monday.

Rising from an undrafted forward in 2012 into the NBA, Nunnally, 23, also went to Summer League with the Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings over the past two years.

Nunnally was a late release out of the Phoenix Suns’ training camp in October.
