Michael Carter-Williams and Trey Burke have been named the NBA Players of the Month for January.

In 17 games played during the month of January, Carter Williams averaged 16.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists. He scored a career-high 33 points at Cleveland on January 7, becoming the first Sixer rookie to score 30-plus points since Iverson on April 19, 1997.

Burke led all NBA rookies in assists (6.8 apg), and ranked third in scoring (11.8 ppg) and minutes (31.5 mpg) during January.
