DeMarcus Cousins left the Sacramento Kings' win on Wednesday over the New York Knicks with a strained left hip flexor.

“I don’t think it’s anything serious,” Mike Malone said. “I think it’s a hip flexor strain but we’ll get a much better idea what it is once I speak with (trainer) Pete (Youngman) and over the break I’m sure he’ll get the necessary treatment.”

Cousins was a strong All-Star candidate with one of the NBA's best player efficiency rating's this season, but wasn't selected.
