Boston College has fired Steve Donahue. 

Donahue was hired in 2010 after taking Cornell to the Sweet 16.

Donahue has been unable to get BC to the NCAA tournament after taking over for Al Skinner. The Eagles were 8-23 this past season, 4-14 in ACC play and are 54-76 in Donahue's tenure.
