LeBron James guarded Joe Johnson late in the Miami Heat's Game 4 win over the Brooklyn Nets and shut down the shooting guard.

Johnson claimed afterward that James "flopped" on plays that sent him to the floor.

“I wasn’t necessarily trying to draw the foul on him but I thought he was aggressive,” Johnson said following the Heat's 102-96 win that put the Nets in a 3-1 hole in the East Conference semifinals. “So I was just trying to use his aggressiveness against him. He flopped that last one."

James said he was just trying to hold his position while not drawing another foul.

“I don’t know, me off the floor benefits the other team,” said James, who tied his playoff career-high with 49 points on Monday. “For me, I didn’t think about me having five fouls, I thought about just trying to get a stop. I was able to keep my body in front of him and able to make it a tough one."
