Kent Bazemore has reached agreement on a $4 million contract with the Atlanta Hawks, fully guaranteed over two seasons, a league source told RealGM.

Bazemore had fielded interest from several team and held meetings this week, and he traveled to Atlanta for a visit to the Hawks. The Los Angeles Lakers and Charlotte Hornets made late pushes for Bazemore, a source said.

An athletic, 6-foot-5 combo guard, Bazemore had been part of the Golden State Warriors’ developing core of players before his trade to the Los Angeles Lakers last season. In 23 games and 15 starts for the Lakers, Bazemore averaged 13.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists.

Out of Old Dominion, Bazemore, 25, has played three NBA seasons. The Hawks have replenished their backcourt with lengthy guards in Bazemore and Thabo Sefolosha.

ESPN first reported Bazemore's deal with the Hawks.
