Shawn Marion met with Larry Bird in Indianapolis on Monday.

Marion is being pursued by the Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavaliers were considered the favorites to sign Marion prior to the meeting.

Marion is a free agent after being with the Dallas Mavericks since 2009.
