Seton Hall's Isaiah Whitehead has a stress fracture in the second and third metatarsals in his foot.

Whitehead was a popular preseason pick for Big East Freshman of the Year and had been averaging 11.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.

“We are glad that we caught this injury early,” Seton Hall head coach Kevin Willard said in a statement according to Jerry Carino of Gannett New Jersey. “We have outstanding doctors who will monitor Isaiah’s progress, and we look forward to having a healthy Isaiah back on the court as soon as possible.”
