Steve Kerr has given credit to Mike D'Antoni, Gregg Popovich and Erik Spoelstra for helping to foster a better brand of offensive basketball in the NBA right now.

Kerr played under Popovich and worked with Mike D'Antoni when he was general manager of the Phoenix Suns.

Kerr points to the way D'Antoni shook up the way rosters were constructed after first making a name for himself in Europe, by “playing smaller guys at the 4 (power forward) who can stretch out the defense, playing a lot of shooters.”
