The Atlanta Hawks are anticipating a four-year, $50 million asking price for DeMarre Carroll this summer in free agency.

Carroll emerged from defensive specialist to also become a strong player on offense with his three-point shooting and playmaking at small forward.

The Hawks would strongly prefer to keep a two-way player of Carroll's caliber, but they could remain pragmatic financially if the bidding goes well over the $50 million mark.
