DeAndre Jordan is seeking a four-year deal in free agency that includes an opt out after three seasons.

Seeking a shorter deal takes away the Los Angeles Clippers' advantage of being able to offer a fifth season.

The Clippers could offer Jordan a deal that includes a fifth year worth $27 million.

Jordan also wants a bigger role on offense as he's grown tired of being third in their pecking order behind Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.

Jordan will meet with the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks and the Clippers once free agency begins.

A source close to the situation told ESPN on Tuesday that it's "50/50" between the Clippers and Mavericks.
