Mustapha Heron has committed to Auburn, choosing the Tigers over Mississippi State, Marquette, Alabama, SMU and St. John's.

The strong 6-foot-5 perimeter player is ranked No. 26 in the ESPN 100 for the 2016 class. Heron was once committed to Pittsburgh, but decommitted in April.

"Coach [Bruce] Pearl told me that [in] 20 of his last 22 years his 2-guards have led his team in scoring," Heron told ESPN.com last week. "So he said I would get a chance to just be comfortable out there and play my game, have the ball in my hands, be able to make decisions and make my teammates around me better."
