Klay Thompson expected to be drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2011 NBA Draft.

The Bucks picked one spot ahead of the Golden State Warriors at No. 10.

"Honestly, I thought I was going to go to Milwaukee," said Thompson. "They told me they really liked me, and they needed a wing. When they traded their pick, I was kind of nervous in the draft. I said, “Oh, shoot. These guys said they really liked me, and I thought I was going there at No. 10.” But it just really worked out that Golden State took me."

The Bucks traded the pick to the Sacramento Kings, who picked Jimmer Fredette while they ended up with Tobias Harris at No. 19.
