Jahlil Okafor was scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee on Thursday in Pensacola, Florida, but it was delayed after it was originally scheduled for Wednesday.

Brett Brown was asked if the knee is worse than originally thought.

"No," Brown said Thursday. "There's no sort of conspiracy theories going on. It's more just trying to get a collaborative effort. It happened with Joel [Embiid] and, I think, with Nerlens [Noel]."

A CAT scan on March 8 revealed the tear.

Okafor will miss the final 23 games of the season.
