Stephen Curry took some standstill shots on Saturday as he continues to recover from a sprained right MCL.

“He’s progressing well,” Steve Kerr said of Curry. “… Before he’s going to be in a game, he needs to be on the floor in five-on-five situations, which means it’s pretty slim that he’ll be out there in Game 2.”

The Golden State Warriors have three days between Game 2 on Tuesday and Game 3 on Saturday.

Curry could blend back into practice on Thursday or Friday.

“We’ll monitor him and see how it goes,” Kerr said. “Hopefully, we’ll get him back at some point. … It’s nice to have that long break between Games 2-3.”
