Carmelo Anthony likes the idea of the New York Knicks hiring David Blatt.

Anthony's good friend, LeBron James, had a strained relationship with Blatt.

Due to his vast international experience, Anthony believes Blatt would be better for Kristaps Porzingis than Kurt Rambis.

Porzingis wasn't thrilled with how Rambis used him early on but things improved.

Anthony has wanted Phil Jackson to widen his coaching search beyond Rambis. Anthony likes Rambis but has reservations with the Knicks maintaining the status quo.
