The Philadelphia 76ers have informed Ben Simmons they will select him with the first overall pick in Thursday's draft.

Simmons worked out for the 76ers on Tuesday, his first pre-draft workout since declaring.

Simmons also posted an image of himself from the workout wearing 76ers' practice uniform and a caption of "Trust the process."
