Austin Rivers has agreed to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers on a three-year deal worth more than $35 million.

The deal also includes a player option for Year 3.

The Clippers have been pursuing Kevin Durant this offseason which would have forced them to renounce nearly their entire team barring a trade of one of their incumbent Big 3.

Rivers also met with the New York Knicks in free agency.

Rivers averaged 8.9 points and 1.5 assists per game in the Clippers' reserve unit.
