The Cleveland Cavaliers plan to sit LeBron James and Kyrie Irving for Monday's game against the Miami Heat, choosing rest over continuing to fight for the No. 1 seed. The Cavaliers were initially going to sit Kevin Love, but he will instead play.

James played 47 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Hawks while Irving played 45.

Cleveland is tied for first with Boston.
