Pat Riley confirmed he agreed upon a five-year extension with the Miami Heat last year. The deal will keep him with the Heat through the 20-21 season when he will be 76.

As part of the agreement, Riley can be able to live anywhere he wants but he said he'll remain primarily based in Miami.

Riley clarified through a team spokesman that "he is not going anywhere for an extended period."

Riley has commuted between homes in Malibu and Miami.

Riley is expected to have another busy offseason, with the Heat anticipated to have roughly $37 million available in cap space.
