The Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers by a final score of 129-120 in Game 5 to win the 2017 NBA Finals.

Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry continued to lead the Warriors, scoring 39 points and 34 points respectively. Durant was named MVP of The Finals.

LeBron James had 41 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists in a losing effort for Cleveland.

The Warriors close out the playoffs with a 16-1 record, only losing in Game 4 at Cleveland.
