The Golden State Warriors have yet to receive an invitation to visit Donald Trump at the White House as 2017 NBA champions.

With a group of players and coaches that have been outspoken against the Trump presidency, there has been an expectation that the Warriors wouldn't visit the White House.

"The biggest thing for me is it's about the players. It's about the team," said Kerr. "We haven't met about it yet because we haven't been invited. I want to be sure the players give this a lot of thought."

Kerr said "it could have really positive ramifications if we do go. It's a different way to look at it."

Kerr added that "it could make a statement when there's so much divide."

Ultimately at this point, Kerr realizes the Warriors may not yet receive an invitation.

"I would love to get an invitation to the White House," said Kerr.
