Blake Griffin has agreed upon a five-year, $173 million contract with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Griffin canceled meetings with the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets.

Griffin did not receive a no-trade clause as part of the deal.

Griffin met with Steve Ballmer, Doc Rivers, Jerry West and several of his teammates on Friday at Staples Center.

At the end of the two-hour meeting, Griffin rose and said "I want my legacy to be a Clipper."

The Clippers prevented Griffin from being tempted by a rival team.

"We've had some great meetings with them and love the direction of the organization," a source close to Griffin told ESPN's Royce Young. "Feel that the best chance to win is definitely with LAC."
