Michael Carter-Williams has agreed to sign with the Charlotte Hornets on a one-year, $2.7 million deal.
The Chicago Bulls did not tender the qualifying offer to Carter-Williams, which made him an unrestricted free agent.
Carter-Williams was the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2014, but was traded by the Philadelphia 76ers during his second NBA season and again by the Milwaukee Bucks before the 16-17 season.
So happy to be joining the hornets this year! Thank you to Chicago for having me I appreciate. Time to move to the next chapter! BUZZZZCITY
