George Hill has agreed upon a three-year, $57 million contract with the Sacramento Kings.

Hill turned down a renegotiate and extend offer from the Jazz in February.

Utah's decision to trade for Ricky Rubio before the start of free agency limited Hill's options. Hill also received interest from the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets. The Lakers were unwilling to offer a multi-year deal due to their desire for cap space in 2018.

The Kings drafted De'Aaron Fox at No. 5 and is expected to be their point guard of the future.

The third-year of the deal is a partial guarantee. According to Sam Amick, the guaranteed amount for the entire deal is $40 million.
