The New York Knicks are expected to renew their willingness to discuss Carmelo Anthony trade scenarios following their decision to sign Tim Hardaway Jr. to a four-year, $71 million offer sheet, which the Atlanta Hawks declined to match.

The Houston Rockets continue to pursue a trade for Anthony, who is willing to waive his no-trade clause to join the team.

The Knicks do not envision a scenario where Anthony and Hardaway share the floor next season.

The Knicks don't plan on trading Courtney Lee as they believe he can play with Hardaway on the wing.
