Kyrie Irving acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding the Cleveland Cavaliers this offseason amid the team operating without a general manager, Kevin Love trade rumors and the possibility of LeBron James leaving in 2018. Irving can become a free agent in 2019.

"Like I said, we're in a peculiar place," Irving said. "The best thing we can do is handle things with class and professionalism. Obviously we have a great owner that's willing to spend a little money on guys that he believes in. At this point, we just see what happens throughout the summer."

The Cavaliers sought trades for Jimmy Butler and Paul George in the offseason.

Cleveland has yet to replace David Griffin after they were unable to secure a deal for Chauncey Billups.
