John Wall will miss several weeks with a knee injury.

The Washington Wizards announced Wall has undergone an MRI exam on his sore left knee and determined that he must receive platelet-rich plasma and viscosupplementation injections to reduce the inflammation.

Wall could be out the next seven games and possibly return on Dec. 9.

Wall initially reported swelling on Nov. 11, his left knee inflammation began after “knee-to-knee contact” during a Nov. 7 game against the Mavericks.

In May 2016, Parker performed the procedure to remove calcific deposits in his left patella tendon when Wall had played the previous season in pain.
