The Houston Rockets will guarantee the contract of Gerald Green for the remainder of the 17-18 season.

Houston was facing a deadline of Sunday to guarantee the deal or waive Green.

Green will make $1.4 million for the season. Green was waived at the start of the regular season by the Bucks and had since been waiting for a call from an NBA team.

The Rockets plan to waive Bobby Brown who is also on a non-guaranteed contract.
