LeBron James is not interested in waiving his no-trade clause at the deadline.

Teams have been doing their due diligence on whether James would have interest in potentially dropping it to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers.

James can become a free agent in the offseason and his future with the Cavaliers is uncertain.

The Cavaliers could improve their existing roster by dealing Brooklyn's first round pick but they have been reluctant to do so without a commitment from James.

James signed a three-year, $100 million contract in 2016 to return to the Cavaliers.
