The Phoenix Suns have hired Joe Prunty to become their lead assistant coach for Igor Kokoskov.

Prunty finished the 17-18 season as interim head coach for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Prunty had been Kidd's top assistant coach with the Bucks.

Kokoskov was hired in May from the Utah Jazz as the Suns' head coach.
