The NBA's first league-hosted Global Camp featured 29 out of 30 teams with the Chicago Bulls being the lone absentee.

The league took over hosting duties from Adidas, who ran the camp from 2003 until 2017.

Camp officials told ESPN that the Bulls declined to participate due to a $10,000 fee charged to every team to subsidize expenses.

The Bulls denied skipping the camp due to the fee.

“We made a decision not to attend the Treviso camp given our trust in our director of international scouting, Ivica Dukan, and his knowledge of the event and the prospects in attendance,” executive vice president John Paxson said Thursday to the Chicago Tribune. “We are also currently holding workouts for our two first-round draft picks and want all of our scouts present as we go about this very important process.”
