The Boston Celtics have appeared to be more on the fringes of Kawhi Leonard trade talks.

While Leonard wants to join one of the two Los Angeles teams, he appears more open to a move to the Philadelphia 76ers than the Celtics.

"Boston really has their top-5 players off limits," said Adrian Wojnarowski. "Boston is more willing to a deal that's pick-heavy. The Spurs want good players back. They don't want to rebuild. They want picks and guys that can help them stay in the playoffs."

Boston's top-5 likely refers to Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Al Horford.

The Celtics would also struggle to create enough salary ballast to acquire Leonard without giving up any of those players.
