Rich Paul admitted it is difficult to pinpoint a primary motive for LeBron James to decide he wanted to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers.
"In 2010, when he went to Miami, it was about championships," Paul said. "In 2014, when he went back to Cleveland, it was about delivering on a promise. In 2018, it was just about doing what he wants to do."
James had been leaning towards Los Angeles for days.
Paul rejects the explanations that James joined the Lakers to expand his businesses in the entertainment field or to create a new superteam overnight.
