Vince Carter signed a one-year, $2.4 million deal with the Atlanta Hawks this offseason, which could be his final contract in the NBA.

Carter said he's '90-something percent' sure that he will retire after the 18-19 season.  Carter plans on pursuing a career in broadcasting when he retires.

Carter said he's not interested in chasing a ring as he nears the end of his career, signing instead with the rebuilding Hawks after spending last season with the rebuilding Sacramento Kings.

"I come from an era where that's not how it was. So that's still instilled in me. And I don't have any problem with how it's done now. (It's) just not for me," Carter said.
