Some teammates loudly confronted Draymond Green in the locker room following an intense late game exchange between Green and Kevin Durant.

Witnesses described the closed-door exchange as one of the most intense of this Warriors era. No one had to be separated, no player left his seat and no hint of physicality loomed in the setting, sources said.

The impending free agency of Durant heightens the sensitivity of the issue.

The Warriors are working through the issues on Tuesday that may have been created or even advanced.

Durant was visibly upset when Green gathered a defensive rebound in the final moments of a tie game and dribbled the ball up the court before losing it.

The Warriors later issued a one-game suspension to Green, deciding his verbiage towards Durant went too far.
