The Golden State Warriors have attempted to stagger the minutes of Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry as much as possible this season, which has led to Curry taking a brief rest in the middle of the fourth quarter.

“I think the whole idea is to stagger Steph and KD as best we can,” Kerr said. “We didn’t do much the last couple of years, but we had a different team the last couple of years. With this year’s team, we feel pretty strongly that we have to stagger them.

“From there, it’s who plays best with which group and which combination of players. This is the one we are currently trying out. I like the look with Shaun (Livingston), Andre and Steph. A lot of basketball IQ out there. Steph is perfectly comfortable playing off the ball and Shaun can post up. It’s a good combination and something I feel has worked pretty well and we will keep going with it.”
