Disney is expected to lose approximately $300 million over the first two quarters of 2019, mostly to develop ESPN+.

ESPN+ is a video streaming subscription service, which broadcasts games and special programming such as Kobe Bryant's Detail.

Disney lost just under $100 million on streaming in the first quarter and is expecting a loss in the second quarter of $200 million.

Disney said last month that ESPN+ now has two million paid subscribers, double from five months before.

Disney has lost approximately $2 billion over two years in their streaming endeavors.
