George Hill scored 21 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks "bench mob" as they beat the Boston Celtics 123-116 to take a 2-1 series lead.

Pat Connaughton added 14 points. The Bucks bench outscored the Celtics bench 42-16 in the game.

The Bucks lineup of Hill, Connaughton, Khris Middleton, Ersan Ilyasova, and Brook Lopez turned a 4-point deficit into an 11-point lead in the 3rd quarter.

"Me and George always talk about Bench Mob. It's not always going to be scoring. It's going to be rebounding, defending and bringing the overall energy into the game, and that's something we need to continue to do if we are going to be successful as a team," said Connaughton.

Mike Budenholzer added that the Bucks rely upon Hill's experience in road playoff games.

"On the road, in this environment, that's when coaches talk about needing guys who have experience, that have been there and that understand what it takes. George in his performance tonight is the prime example of that," said Budenholzer.
