Klay Thompson has been widely expected to re-sign with the Golden State Warriors this offseason, but that is possibly contingent on being offered a full five-year, $190 million max contract.

Thompson is one of the NBA's best plug and play players, which could lead to teams like the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers pursuing him.

"If they come with a five-year, $190 million max deal for Klay Thompson, that's done on July 1—he's going into the new building with Steph Curry," Wojnarowski said. "If they try to do anything less than that, you can expect Klay Thompson to be out in free agency. Watch not for the Lakers, then, but the Clippers."

Thompson re-signed with the Warriors in 2014 on a four-year, $70 million deal.
