The Philadelphia 76ers have hired Cameron Hodges as player development coach.

Hodges spent the past three seasons with the San Antonio Spurs. Hodges worked under Chip Engelland, who is possibly the NBA's most well-known shooting coaches.

Hodges will work with a number of players, but Ben Simmons in particular.

Simmons, who worked on his outside shooting with his brother, Liam Simmons, this past season, worked with John Townsend, the Sixers’ assistant director of player development and a respected shooting coach, during the 2017-18 season.
