Jonas Valanciunas plans to decline his $17.6 million player option for the 19-20 season with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Valanciunas prefers to negotiate a new contract with the Grizzlies. Valanciunas averaged 19.9 points and 10.7 rebounds after joining the Grizzlies from the Toronto Raptors.
