Steve Kerr said that he won't try to recruit Klay Thompson or Kevin Durant when the Golden State Warriors formally meet with both players this week.

"There's no recruiting. We're not doing any videos and tours of the city. Basically it's a 'We want you back and we hope you decide to come back and see what happens'...You just got to do what you got to do, but with our group it's just -- conversation," Kerr recently told Nick Friedell of ESPN.

Friedell adds that the Warriors want to re-sign both Thompson and Durant despite their injuries suffered during the NBA Finals. There's a feeling within the organization that Thompson will sign a 5-year, $190 million max contract, and that Durant may not return.

"We'll see," said Bob Myers when asked if he were optimistic heading into negotiations with Thompson and Durant.
