The Los Angeles Lakers have interest in pursuing D'Angelo Russell this offseason if the Brooklyn Nets renounces him by signing Kyrie Irving.

"The Lakers are waiting to see if D'Angelo Russell becomes an unrestricted free agent," said Adrian Wojnarowski. "If Kyrie Irving goes to Brooklyn, and Brooklyn renounces (Russell's) rights and allows him to become unrestricted then he could fit right into the max salary slot that they would have there. His number."

Russell would be "open minded" to returning to the Lakers.

The Lakers would also have interest in Darren Collison and Terrence Ross, but the preference is believed to be Russell.

"D'Angelo Russell is at the top of that list," added Wojnarowski.
