The Philadelphia 76ers was offered a five-year, $190 million full max contract to Jimmy Butler, a source tells NBC Sports' Tom Haberstroh

This report of a full five-year max from Haberstroh contradicts what was previously relayed by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, who indicated the 76ers weren't even willing to offer Butler a four-year max. Shams Charania of The Athletic also reported that he never got the sense that the 76ers offered a five-year max.

Either way, the 76ers agreed to a sign-and-trade of Butler to the Miami Heat.

Butler flew down to Miami for the start of free agency and was clear he wanted to join the Heat.
