Andre Iguodala will be officially traded to the Memphis Grizzlies after the moratorium ends and the two sides could agree to a buyout.

Iguodala was traded by the Golden State Warriors in order to facilitate their sign-and-trade for D'Angelo Russell.

When Iguodala is bought out and clears waivers, both Stephen A. Smith and Ramona Shelburne suggest he could end up with the Lakers. Iguodala was previously represented by Rob Pelinka, who now runs the Lakers.

Smith was more unequivocal in his reporting on Iguodala.

"He has basically, according to sources, informed everybody he's going to work out a buyout and then go to the Lakers," said Smith.

"So Andre Iguodala is planning on joining the Lakers from what we're being told. I don't know how true that is, whether or not it is going to definitively happen.

"But that is the plan at this particular moment in time."
